Innovative Labs LLC was founded in 2007 by John Webley, a successful businessman with a proven record of accomplishment in the technology industry. The mission of Innovative Labs is to solve challenges that affect global well-being in fields that include health, environmental concerns and security. Focused on given problems and engineering solutions Webley and his team of engineers and scientists have developed several unique products which can be seen on this website.

Security of incoming cargo in shipping containers is a major problem addressed by the United States Department of Homeland Security.  The need for a shipping container status indicator was at hand that needed to meet price and performance guidelines that satisfied government  mandates.  Innovative Labs engineered such a module that became recognized as an award winning necessity and was praised by the military in a "Product of the Year" announcement.

Innovative Labs LLC is a progressive biotech and engineering firm that specializes in the research and development of advanced air purification, water and security technologies.

The need for pure drinking water is an international concern. Many forms of available water are contaminated and sea-water is undrinkable.   Innovative Labs pioneered first a way of acquiring personal drinking water by purification of water that may be biologically undrinkable. Then by expanding the research and development our scientists and chemists developed a new molecule that had the property to bond with the water that is in seawater and by osmosis to draw that pure water through a membrane using a system approach of "Forward Osmosis". This novel technique has found increasing interest internationally and Innovative Lab's technology has been spun off to the company Trevi Systems, Inc. of Petaluma, California.

These include a Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) air purification system and Manganese Oxide (MnOx) air purification system which had been designed to address the concerns of formaldehyde, ozone and VOC pollution. The inital product details revolved around a specification given Innovative Labs by FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
